These Terms govern your use of the Lean Machine app and website ("the Service"), operated by Lean Machine ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service is intended for adults aged 18 and over. By using it you confirm you are at least 18 years old. We may suspend access where we believe a user is under 18.
Lean Machine is a fitness tracking and coaching tool. Nothing in the Service — including AI-generated coaching, chat responses, body composition estimates, InBody interpretations, and meal or training suggestions — is medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and the Service never provides dosing or protocol guidance for medications, hormone therapy, or peptides. Always consult a qualified physician before changing your diet, training, supplements, medications, or hormone therapy, and before acting on any output of the Service. You use the Service, and undertake any physical training, at your own risk.
Coaching responses are generated by artificial intelligence based on the information you provide. AI output can be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for evaluating any suggestion before acting on it. Do not rely on the Service in an emergency.
Participating gyms may license AI access for their members via a gym code. Gym access is tied to the gym's license term and seat count; if a gym's license ends or seats are exhausted, member access through that code ends. Gym codes may not be resold or shared outside the licensed gym's membership. Gyms do not receive access to members' personal or health data through the Service.
Your logs, photos, and profile are stored on your device as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for backing up your device. You retain all rights to content you submit; you grant us only the limited right to process it (via our stateless relay and our AI provider) to deliver the features you request.
You agree not to misuse the Service, including: attempting to bypass usage limits or payment; reverse engineering or scraping the AI relay; sharing gym codes outside a licensed gym; using the Service to generate harmful or unlawful content; or infringing others' rights. We may suspend access for violations.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for personal injury arising from training or nutrition decisions, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
We may update the Service and these Terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
You can stop using the Service at any time and delete your data in-app (Reset Everything) or per the account deletion instructions. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Venue for disputes lies in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas.
